Vodafone Launched new Facebook phone ~ twitchtime

Hey friends, Vodafone has launched new Fully Facebook phone. The 555 Blue. I think Vodafone is the first company who has launched this Facebook phone. Price of this phone is just Rs. 4,950.

This phone is not running on Android,Symbian OS or any other smart phone OS. It will running on Vodafone's proprietary operating system. Vodafone is bundling unlimited usage on the phone for the first year.
This Device is made my TCL, it has a 2.4 inch screen with physical keypad and Quarter VGA (320 X 240 pixels) display. Keypad includes fully dedicated Facebook Buttons.

But one bad news is that, it does not have 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity. Vodafone has tied up with the Facebook for this phone.

Buyer will log in into their Facebook account as they turn on Blue 555, and also buyer will be able to sign up for Facebook if they don't have. Currently 250 million users use their Facebook account through mobile phones. So Facebook's vice president Joanna Shields said that the company hopes the device drive new sign ups in developing world.

The 555 Blue will go on sale in August across various Vodafone markets. Now a days users of smart phone and Android are so much and will increase.
